Can you fish while on a cruise ship vacation? Yes but you’ll need to do some planning ahead.

Before the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, cruise lines offered several trips from NYC to the Bahamas, and while itineraries vary, they normally make stops in Florida and the Bahamas. This is where you can book a fishing charter and or DIY fishing.

Keep in mind, you’ll only be in port for a few hours, so your fishing charter depends on your disembarkation and all aboard time, but normally you can at least book a half a day charter which is good enough to get the feel for fishing the port of call.
