This year we are lucky to have the big bluefish back, I’ve found them doing the usual finning and gathering in shallow water, but this action won’t last long. So time to get out and target these gators!

Try using poppers or metals if you are using conventional tackle, move flies (sliders, top water) as fast as they hit the water and as fast as you can to trigger a bite, this is very similar to fly fishing for barracuda.

Most important of all, be careful when landing these fish they are strong and have sharp teeth.
